WHAT WE DO
Attitude is a exciting and fun filled dance school for adults in Oxford and Abingdon. Established by Lauren Dean (Professional Member of the UKA Dance Association). Classes are held at the Headington Quarry Hall (Quarry Road, Headington, Oxford) and Preston Road Community Centre (Midget Road, Abingdon). Attitude Dance school is proud to be the first to offer Burlesque dance classes in the area and are currently holding beginner/intermediate classes in Contemporary/Modern and Burlesque
CLASSES WE OFFER
BEGINNERS ONLY BURLESQUE
Monday (Oxford) 6pm-7pm
Thursday (Abingdon) 6pm-7pm

CONTEMPORARY DANCE
Monday (Oxford) 7pm-8pm
Thursday (Abingdon) 7pm-8pm

Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet.
Get lean and limber with a stretchy warm up, followed by simple dance technique exercises, which get combined to make unique routines.
BURLESQUE
Monday (Oxford) 8pm-9pm
Thursday (Abingdon) 8pm-9pm

It’s all tease and no sleaze with this fun and flirtatious class. Let your inner flirt out with simple stage steps combined with hip bumps, shimmies and thrusts which are guaranteed to make them blush. The varied classes in a neo-burlesque style contain no nudity and will teach you the basics of burlesque. No experience is necessary so come let your hair down and shimmy on over for tantalisingly a good time.
